Rome Heavy Duty is a division of Rome Tool and Die Co., Die Co., which is located in Rome, GA.  RTD was founded in 1955 by J. G. Dudley, Sr., and to present day is owned by his sons Jimmie and John Dudley. Since its humble beginning RTD has grown to over one hundred forty thousand-sq. ft. of manufacturing space, offering quality and service to all aspects of the tool and die and metal stamping industry. In 1979, Rome Heavy Duty began fabricating brake shoe cores, and today is one of the largest manufacturers in North America.

We currently sell medium, heavy duty, and transit shoes to the aftermarket industry, as well as O.E.M. companies.  Rome Heavy Duty provides a broad range of part numbers, and we continuously update and diversify our product line to ensure that our customers can rely on us as a sole supplier of brake shoe cores.
